Contributions to federal political committees and federal candidate committees are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, foreign nationals without a green card, and federal government contractors are prohibited. Individuals may contribute a maximum of $28,500 per calendar year to the NRSC and $2,300 per election per federal candidate.
