Lamar Alexander
U.S. Senator, Tennessee

Senator Lamar Alexander, a seventh generation Tennessean, has dedicated his life to representing the people of Tennessee’s values at both the state and national levels. Aside from education initiatives, Lamar works to make sure that the environment is a safe place for Tennesseans in years to come, when he serves on the Environment and Public Works Committee.

John Barrasso
U.S. Senator, Wyoming

Known to many around Wyoming as “Wyoming’s Doctor,” John Barrasso is now serving in the U.S. Senate. Following the death of the late Senator Craig Thomas, John was selected to fill the vacant Senate seat out of 31 Wyomingites. As a licensed orthopedic surgeon, senior care is especially important to John. Barrasso also writes a monthly column called “Caring for Wyoming’s Seniors.” John Barrasso can accurately be called a citizen-legislator and should be elected to a full term – a term that will surely be a productive and beneficial one for Wyoming.

Saxby Chambliss
U.S. Senator, Georgia

Elected in 2002, Senator Saxby Chambliss immediately emerged as a leader in the United States Senate. Saxby is a leader on national intelligence issues and believes that the United States needs to continually improve the intelligence system in order to prevent future terrorist attacks. Saxby also is a strong advocate for providing the best care and benefits for our brave men and women in the military as well as for their families.

Thad Cochran
U.S. Senator, Mississippi

Senator Thad Cochran has served the citizens of Mississippi in the United States Senate for nearly 30 years, now serving his fifth term. Thad has long been a strong supporter of improving the quality of education in Mississippi. As a former member of the U.S. Naval Reserve, Thad has been able to successfully advocate for the critical funds for military bases in Mississippi. Thad was last elected to the U.S. Senate with over 85 percent of the vote; Mississippians agree that Thad is doing a great job representing Mississippi at the national level.

Norm Coleman
U.S. Senator, Minnesota

Senator Norm Coleman was elected to the United States Senate in 2002. Early on in his Senate career, Norm earned the reputation as a legislator who is able to work with both political parties to get legislation accomplished that benefits Minnesota. Norm is an advocate of the free market systems as well as a longtime supporter of lower taxes for all Americans. Norm Coleman understands how to get work done for Minnesotans and deserves to be re-elected to the U.S. Senate next November.

Susan Collins
U.S. Senator, Maine

Elected in 1996, Senator Susan Collins has repeatedly crossed party lines to accomplish legislation that benefit the citizens of Maine. Susan recognizes when both change and improvements are needed to make programs for Americans more efficient. Susan co-authored both the intelligence reform and disaster response bills, which have been signed into law by the President. Susan is getting work done for Maine and will continue to do so when she is elected to a third term in the U.S. Senate in 2008.

U.S. Senator, Texas

Senator John Cornyn was first elected to the United States Senate from Texas in 2002. John, a true Texas conservative, is a strong advocate for traditional family values, as well as a champion of free markets and lower taxes. John has worked to defend Texan values and he wants to be re-elected for another term because he has more to accomplish as a U.S. Senator from the state of Texas.

Elizabeth Dole
U.S. Senator, North Carolina

Senator Elizabeth Dole, currently serving her first term as a United States Senator, is a long-term advocate of growing our nation’s economy, creating more jobs, improving education and securing the U.S. borders.  Dole is also a former member of the Senate Republican Leader when she served as the Chairwoman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Elizabeth Dole must be re-elected to the United States Senate in order to finish the illegal immigration reduction programs she has already began implementing in North Carolina.

Mike Enzi
U.S. Senator, Wyoming

Senator Michael Enzi was sworn in as a United States Senator from Wyoming in 1997. A former small business owner, Mike understands the needs and interests of Wyoming small businesses and has worked in the Senate to protect small businesses. A strong advocate of community service, Enzi believes in strong communities fostering growth through service.

Jim Gilmore
Open Seat, Virginia

Jim Gilmore cut taxes $1.5 billion for Virginia's working families and will fight for lower taxes in Washington. As a U.S. Senator Jim Gilmore will work to reduce the cost of government by eliminating earmarks and pork barrel spending.

Lindsey Graham
U.S. Senator, South Carolina

Senator Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina native, who currently serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, is an example of a true citizen legislator. Lindsey is a strong advocate in the Senate for adequate funding for the military, insuring that our nation’s young men and women have the tools they need to be successful. Lindsey Graham wants to continue to work for the citizens of his state to provide tax relief and milltay funding for South Carolina.

Jim Inhofe
U.S. Senator, Oklahoma

Senator Jim Inhofe, a lifelong Oklahoman, represents common-sense Oklahoma values in Washington, DC. Returning to Oklahoma almost every weekend, Jim understands the needs and interests of Oklahomans. Jim has repeatedly visited troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan since the war on terror began in 2001. Jim Inhofe wants to be in Washington in order to keep Oklahoma’s common-sense, conservative values represented at the national level.

Mike Johanns
Open Seat, Nebraska

A former Governor of Nebraska, Mike Johanns was most recently Secretary of Agriculture in the President’s Cabinet. During his six years as Governor, Johanns was a strong advocate for rural communities and farmers and ranchers. The son of a dairy farmer, Mike still describes himself as “a farmer's son with an intense passion for agriculture.” Johanns will be a strong advocate for Nebraska and an effective United States Senator.

John Kennedy
Challenger, Louisiana

Currently Treasurer of the state of Louisiana, John Kennedy will be a voice of change for the people of Louisiana in the U.S. Senate.  As Treasurer, Kennedy is responsible for overseeing the state of Louisiana’s $5 billion budget. Kennedy easily won re-election to his post in November 2007.  In Louisiana, he’ll face Mary Landrieu whose own office has admitted she may be the most vulnerable Democrat Senator in 2008.  This will be a race to keep an eye on.

Mitch McConnell
U.S. Senator, Kentucky

Senator Mitch McConnell, a Louisville native and the Republican leader in the United States Senate, is also the longest serving Republican Senator from the State of Kentucky. The Leader has successfully represented the conservative values important to Kentucky voters. The Leader was last elected to the Senate with over 65 percent of the vote, a clear indication that Mitch McConnell is strongly supported by Kentucky.

Open Seat, New Mexico

Steve Pearce often says he has lived the American dream. From humble beginnings in Hobbs, serving his country in the Air Force, building a successful business and then serving in the U.S. Congress, Pearce has developed consistent values and a strong sense of fairness, justice, and freedom. He is dedicated to fighting hard for the people of New Mexico and plans to bring that same dedication to the floor of the U.S. Senate.

Jim Risch
Open Seat, Idaho

Currently serving as lieutenant governor of Idaho, Jim Risch has worked to provide tax relief to Idahoans, worked to reorganize the Department of Health, and continually developed economic initiatives within the state. Jim is a small business owner, successfully running his own ranch and farm.  He understands the needs and risks it takes to run a business. When elected to the U.S. Senate, Risch will be a strong conservative that will fight for Idaho values at the national level.

U.S. Senator, Kansas

Senator Pat Roberts, a fourth generation Kansan brings Kansan values to the United States Senate. As a former marine, Pat views national security issues as a critically high priority in our country, and helped reform national security to fit the post-September 11th world. Pat Roberts wants to continue his commitment to the state of Kansas when he is re-elected to serve another term as U.S. Senator.

Bob Schaffer
Open Seat, Colorado

Bob Schaffer understands the value of hard work.  As the son of two retired school teachers, and having worked his way through college to earn his degree, Bob is truly an example of how hard work will lead to success. Bob Schaffer took the values he learned growing up to the U.S. House of Representatives where he served three successful terms.  With his proven record of achievement in the Colorado state legislature as well as in the U.S. House of Representatives, Bob will fight for issues that are important to Colorado as a U.S. Senator.

Jeff Sessions
U.S. Senator, Alabama

Senator Jeff Sessions learned the values of honesty, hard work and faith in God, while growing up in rural Alabama. Jeff took these values with him when he was elected to the United States Senate in 1996. Sessions returns home to Alabama almost every weekend, and also holds town hall meetings in all 67 Alabama counties each year. Sessions was last elected with over 59 percent of the vote, and it is clear to his constituents that Jeff Sessions is working hard in Washington for Alabama.

U.S. Senator, Oregon

An Oregon native, Senator Gordon Smith came to Washington, DC in 1997, with an “independent streak”, willing to cross party lines to accomplish critical legislation for Oregon. Senator Gordon Smith gets real results from his ability to work with both parties to get results for Oregon and is a needed voice in Washington.

U.S. Senator, Alaska

Senator Ted Stevens has been serving the state of Alaska since 1968. Ted has a motto for his job as a public servant to Alaska which is “Do what’s best for Alaska.” Almost forty years after Ted started his service representing Alaska in the Senate he is still delivering results to better his constituents’ lives. As the longest serving Republican in the Senate, Ted knows how to work with both republicans and democrats to get results for Alaska.

John Sununu
U.S. Senator, New Hampshire

As the youngest member of the United States Senate, New Hampshire native John Sununu is a champion for issues that are important to his state. Growing up in the state with a family of eight siblings and attending New Hampshire public schools, John is a hard-working citizen who took the values he learned at a young age to the U.S. Senate. John brings his considerable intellect and drive to Washington, DC to work on behalf of New Hampshire constituents.  Senator John Sununu wants to be re-elected to the U.S. Senate so he can continue to his advocacy for the citizens of New Hampshire.

Roger Wicker
U.S. Senator, Mississippi

Roger has been a steady advocate for Mississippi in Washington, pushing for projects that bring new economic opportunity to the entire state of Mississippi. He has worked hard to create a favorable economic development environment through policies that support strong schools, tax incentives for new businesses, and valuable programs such as the Appalachian Regional Commission and Economic Development Administration. In the Senate, Roger plans to make Hurricane Katrina recovery his #1 priority.
